To all my wonderful clients, both existing and new,
It’s been difficult for me to put this into words, but unfortunately after a long struggle with illness I have made the heartbreaking decision to take a long break from doing permanent make-up and all other treatments from today (08/07/19), as my health is suffering and I feel it unfair on you to have to keep cancelling your appointments at short notice. It has also just become overwhelmingly stressful trying to rebook clients around being so unwell.
You have all been so wonderful and understanding throughout, for which I am so very grateful - I think of you all as friends as well as clients. I will, of course, honour any top-ups that are due as this is included as part of the initial treatment, but at least for the foreseeable future I will not be doing any Colour Boosts, HD Brows, LVL’s, Waxes, Tints or taking on any new clients. Any booking fees or pre-paid treatments will of course be refunded, and everyone will be contacted in the next couple of weeks for this to be done. I will also be texting a copy of this message, to every client booked in for the rest of this year and also any clients who booked in advance for 2020.
Please be assured, this decision has not been taken lightly. I was hoping after my stay at a health retreat in January/February, that my health would improve and I would be able to continue working normally, and for a while after I returned I was certainly feeling much better. Unfortunately my illness has returned once more, and I have therefore made the decision to take a longer time out to try and sort out once and for all how to manage it, as well as trying to find out the cause and explore other treatments.
I’d like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you for your loyalty, kindness and compassion over the last 10 years. I really hope your experience with permanent make-up has helped you in some way - whether it’s boosted your confidence, helped you with a medical condition, or just simply given you more time each day to do other things you love.
It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you all over the last 10 years and I really hope you’ll keep in touch.
